Golf in the Dordogne
When people think of golf in the sun, they usually think of Spain
or the Algarve but here in the Dordogne, France we have some
excellent golf courses and with Dordogne Villas Direct / Sarlat

If you are interested in coming to the Dordogne for a Play &

some excellent golf courses in the dordogne.
Domain de Rochebois Golf Course located in Vitrac is just a
few minutes drive from all our villas. It is currently 9-hole
course but is being extended to 18-hole. All golf equipment can
be rented on site so you need bring nothing apart from your
favourite driver!
Next closest is Souillac Country club 18-hole golf course,
which is only half an hours drive from the villas.
Other golf courses in the are include Château des Vigiers,
one of the best courses in the region and is located between
Bergerac and Bordeaux. The Donald Steel designed course has the
ninth and eighteenth greens located in front of the Château ;
Also, Marsac Sur L'Isle Perigueux which is an 18 hole par 71
course, Monestier a uniquely 18+6 hole par 72 course and Le Bugue
which has 18 holes and is par 72. There are also 2 9 hole courses
at Vitrac which is 36 for the 9 holes and Siorac En Perigord
which is par 35. All of the golf courses are beautiful parkland /
woodland courses set in the midst of the Dordogne.
